FN Herstal will once again be at the Defence Services Asia (DSA) Exhibition and Conference, for its 18th edition to be held in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) on 6-9 May.
With many customers in the Asia-Pacific region, and a sales office in Singapore, FN Herstal gives high priority to maintaining its long-standing relationships in the area.
When the Malaysian Armed Forces changed their small arms from WW2 era equipment, they adopted FN Herstal’s FAL (SLR) rifle and the FN MAG® machine gun in 7.62mm NATO, and the Browning 9mm High Power pistol. The close relationship continued with later adoption of the FN® M2HB-QCB .50 Cal machine gun and the FN MINIMI® light machine gun. For more than 60 years the Malaysian Armed Forces have had FN Herstal weapons in service, and have first-hand experience of the quality of the products, and the reliability of service. For Malaysia, as for many NATO and other armed forces worldwide, FN Herstal’s position as a leading designer and manufacturer of small arms and ammunition, original creator of many reference weapons in service, with innovative designs, top quality manufacturing, and 360-degree customer service are all important factors when choosing a supplier.
FN Herstal will be displaying a wide range of products at DSA this year:
- the outstanding FN SCAR® family of rifles with configurations for every type of military or law enforcement mission
- FN Herstal’s light, medium and heavy machine guns, each of them being absolute world references in their category. Often imitated, never equalled, these are the real FNs (its engraved on the receiver!)
- Handguns that include the new FN HiPer® 9mm pistol, combining the best of current designs with patented innovative features to give users the best in ergonomics, reliability and safety
- FN Herstal’s range of integrated weapon systems for air, sea and land platforms includes weapon stations equipped with FN machine guns, for tracked and wheeled, manned and unmanned ground vehicles
- Small arms ammunition; FN Herstal is a manufacturer of high-quality ammunition. Several NATO standard calibres were designed by FN. The company also has a long history of transferring technology and assisting customers to set up, convert, or expand ammunition production facilities
A team of sales and technical specialists will be on FN Herstal’s booth (6120 in hall 6) to discuss your defence and security challenges.
