A GLOBAL COMPANY
Since its inception in 1889, the company has been based in Herstal, close to Liege in Belgium, at the heart of Europe, the European Union and NATO. While the Belgium-based facilities house all departments in charge of designing, developing, manufacturing, testing, marketing and selling FN solutions, FN Herstal is the parent company of three fully owned subsidiaries:
- FN America (States of America)
- FNH UK (United Kingdom)
- Noptel (Finland)
FN Herstal also relies on a sales network all over the world that provides international customers with local support.
OUR PARENT COMPANY
The FN Browning Group, based on the same location as FN Herstal in Belgium, covers the operations of two distinct divisions:
- the Defence and Security division, through FN Herstal brand
- the Hunting and Sports shooting division, through its Browning and Winchester firearms* brands, designs, develops, manufactures and sells firearms, ammunition, clothing and accessories to hunting enthusiasts and sports shooters worldwide.
While the market approaches are totally different, there are significant synergies between the two sides of the house to drive forward innovations that can benefit both and the end users.
* Winchester firearms is a trademark registered by the Olin corporation
