FN, the original manufacturer of the Quick Change Barrel (QCB), version Browning M2HB .50 cal
The FN® M2BH QCB Mk2 is the latest version of the legendary Browning M2 .50 calibre (12.7x99mm NATO) machine gun with a heavy barrel, optimized for general ground-role missions. The quick-change barrel (QCB) with fixed headspace and timing was introduced in the 1980’s, making it easier and safer to operate. Further more recent upgrades include a barrel ready for a highly effective screw-on flash suppressor and the ability to integrate a shot counter for more efficient maintenance.
The FN® M2HB QCB can be used on a wide variety of mountings for vehicles, boats and ships. A coaxial version is available to be installed alongside and aligned with another weapon on a vehicle/turret.
