The FN® Medium Pintle System is ideal when heavy firepower is needed. Well suited for suppressive fire against light armoured vehicles up to 2,500m, it features a .50 cal FN® M3M machine gun and can be window, door, ramp or externally mounted. The FN® MDP Turning (Medium Door Pintle) system can be easily retracted or removed when not in use, thanks to the FN turning system.
The standard interface of the turning arm allows switching in less than 2 minutes from the .50 cal system to the light pintle system FN® LPS equipped with the FN MAG® 7.62mm machine gun.
