FN REINFORCES LONG-STANDING COMMITMENT TO ASIA PACIFIC AT DSA 2026

FN, the Defence and Security Division of Belgium-based FN Browning Group, will once again have a booth at the DSA trade show to be held in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) from 20 to 23 April.

The sizeable display will highlight a selection from our extensive range of solutions, products and services, including:

    • The FN SMART PROTECTOR® 303T Less Lethal launcher. This upgraded version of the FN 303® has integrated technologies that greatly reduce the risk of inflicting serious injury by avoiding unintentional headshots.
    • The new FN HIPER® pistol in the traditional 9x19mm calibre, and the FN FIVE-SEVEN® MK3 pistol firing the highly effective FN-designed 5.7x28mm cartridge (now a NATO standard).
    • The FN SCAR® family of rifles, available in several calibres and sizes from the subcompact carbine up to precision rifles for long range accuracy.
    • The well-known FN range of 5.56mm, 7.62mm and 12.7mm (.50 Cal) machine guns in service in many armed forces in the region and worldwide.
    • Weapon mounts, including FN DEFNDER® remotely operated weapon stations, for mounting machine guns in air, land and sea roles.
    • The FN ELITY® aiming solution for sniper and precision rifles as well as spotting scopes, which greatly increases hit probability.
    • The FN® Smart Armoury, which makes weapon fleet management and maintenance easier and more effective.

This year, FN marks 40 years of presence in Malaysia, and a similar time, if not more, in many countries all over the APAC region. FN local partners ensure a close connection with customers and are a vital part of FN’s international sales network. Shared values and mutual trust create strong bonds, in some cases spanning several generations. The results are reflected in the Company’s sales figures, which are showing strong growth.

All good partnerships rely on effective communication. The Belgium-based small arms designer and manufacturer will be taking advantage of many local business partners and FN personnel being gathered at DSA to hold an exclusive three-day seminar. This will be an occasion to reaffirm FN’s strong commitment to the region, to discuss strategies, and to present upcoming product developments.

As Julien Compère, CEO of FN Browning Group, said recently: “Our continued presence in the Asian-Pacific region, through both our long-standing and newer business partners, is a key contributor to what FN is today; a solid and trusted company that continues to innovate, empowering those who serve, defend and protect us with the most dependable defence and security solutions. We are proud of our business partners and their unmatched commitment to our company, expertise and loyalty.”
